GOOD NEIGHBOUR
PROGRAMME
Our Good Neighbour Programme (GNP) looks for cooperative values that already exist in the community but have become dormant, and attempts to revive them through nurturing. It challenges negative trends by encouraging a higher standard of helpfulness.
The GNP is aimed at both adults and children.
Adults are sensitised through a house-to-house visitation programme designed to recover those latent values that can bring about group cohesiveness.
Children are sensitised through an extra curricular programme that promotes characteristics of a good samaritan or citizen.

We are working with 208 households and have over 170 children coming to class.
